Dr. Md. Momin Uddin is a teacher, fiction writer and columnist. He writes both Bengali and English with equal ease and efficiency. Born on 9th May 1977 in a small village of Meherpur in Bangladesh, Mr. Uddin completed his Honours and Master’s in English Literature from Kushtia Islamic University with first position in both the examinations. He also completed his PhD from the same university.
Beginning his career as a junior lecturer in the department of English at Northern University, Bangladesh, Momin Uddin has taught in the department of English at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Trishal, Mymensingh, and is, currently, teaching in the department of English at Jagannath University, Dhaka.
Mr. Uddin has, by now, written half a dozen short stories in English and has got a number of research articles published in different acclaimed journals and contributed quite a large number of columns to different English language newspapers published from the country.
